There are 8 different application forms that students can apply for. These applications are based on the nature of summer student work that the Government of Saskatchewan offers. Students can apply to one or multiple application forms based on their interests, qualifications, and experience. For students with experience or interest in working in a professional business setting. These positions are fitting for those with experience or education in Law, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Marketing, Communications or Policy.

Typical jobs may include:
Accounting Clerk
Research/Policy Officer
Communications Assistant
Legal Research Assistant
Labour Market Information Assistant 


For students with experience or interest in working in a professional office setting. Specific education is not always required but may be of interest to those studying Business Administration, Arts, Office Education, etc.

Typical jobs may include:
Document Processing
Secretary/Admin Assistant
Data Entry Clerk
Program Support Worker

For students who want to spend a summer in a beautiful Provincial Park while working with campers, staff, and the outdoors. Those studying History, Education, or Arts are well-suited for the Interpreter positions.

Park Gate Attendant
Park Maintenance Worker
Historic or Nature Interpreter
Lifeguard/Water Safety Instructor
Gallery or Museum Interpreter
Conservation Officer
Park Ranger

For students who enjoy working with their hands in an active environment. Specific education is not generally required but those studying skilled trades may find these positions a good fit.

Maintenance Worker
Facility Cleaner
Trades Helper
Kitchen Worker
Laundry Worker
Radio Technician

 Highway Maintenance Application

 Science and Technology Application

 Geological Survey Application

 Human Services and Security Application

For students who enjoy working outside in the summer, working our province's highways and infrastructure. Specific education is not generally required but those studying skilled trades may find these positions a good fit.

Typical jobs may include:
General Labourer
Equipment Operator
For students with education or experience in areas including Engineering, Biology, Health Sciences, Computer Science, etc. These positions will fit students with experience in research, testing, surveying, information technology, etc.

Lab Assistant
Engineering Assistant
Environmental Researcher
Forestry Technician
Information/Data Analyst
Pharmacy Assistant
Research/Policy Officer

For students with education in Geology.  These positions include office/lab work and field work.

Typical jobs include:
Office position with Precambrian Geology/Minerals focus
Office/Lab position with Oil and Gas focus
Northern Field Work, Junior
Northern Field Work, Senior

For students with education, experience, or interest in supporting the care and treatment of clients. Education may include Social Work, Human Justice, Education, etc. (Includes positions at Camp Thunderbird, Candle Lake and Valley View Centre, Moose Jaw)

Research/Policy Officer
Child & Youth Protection Worker
Group Activities Aide
